A major European bank was running an audit process from the last decade. Compliance reports were manually compiled from multiple internal systems — a weeks-long process with high error risk. Regulatory auditors expected real-time data; the team delivered outdated snapshots.

The Solution
We built a fully automated ETL system that extracts data from multiple internal bank systems, cleans it, and consolidates it in a central HDFS-based enterprise data store.
On this data foundation, we implemented Qlik Sense dashboards that visualize compliance-relevant KPIs in real time — with drill-down to transaction level.
Audit reports are now generated fully automatically, versioned, and exported for regulators — with no manual compilation.
